Senior Architectural Historian The Ottery Group is seeking a Senior-level Architectural Historian to direct our architectural history team. This full-time, permanent position will largely involve project management, staff oversight, and business development, but will also entail fieldwork, archival research, site evaluation and recordation, and preparation of technical reports. Applicants should have a graduate degree in Architectural History and at least five years of professional work experience in architectural history or a related field. The position requires a thorough knowledge of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and the National Environmental Policy Act and experience preparing a variety of reports, including: Historic Structure Reports, Environmental Impact Reports, Condition Assessments, Preservation Plans, National Register Nominations, Federal Tax Credit Certification documentation, and HABS/HAER reports. The applicant should have a keen attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and the ability to successfully manage staff and projects on tight schedules. The salary offered for this position will be commensurate with the qualifications of the selected applicant. This position will remain open until filled.

Archeological Field Technicians We are actively recruiting experienced field crew personnel to work on various projects throughout the eastern United States. Applicants must have a minimum of a B.A. degree in Anthropology or a related field and have completed a field school. Previous CRM experience is highly desirable. These positions are for staffing projects on an "as-needed basis" as project loads require.

Archeological Crew Chief The firm is seeking experienced crew chiefs to supervise various projects throughout the eastern United States. Applicants must have a minimum of five years experience in directing fieldwork and report preparation. These positions are for staffing projects on an "as-needed basis" for the duration of specific projects, however, some positions may be made permanent.

of Environmental Services The Ottery Group is seeking an experienced project manager to direct the firm's environmental services group. The successful applicant will be responsible for business development, client management, and the direction of project staff. Propsective candidates should have 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting. The applicant should have a keen attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and the ability to successfully manage staff and projects on tight schedules. The salary offered for this position will be commensurate with the qualifications of the selected applicant. This position will remain open until filled.

Specialist The Ottery Group is seeking a Project Manager for NEPA-related studies. The successful applicant will have extensive experience preparing categorical exclusions and NEPA documentation as required by various agencies. Responsibilities will also include business development and client management.
